The astonishing victory of Chandrababu Naidu led Telugudesam in the state of Andhrapradesh in the 2014 General elections is definitely made the party leaders and members very happy and go into celebrations. But, a question which is arriving now is that Is this really the true victory of Chandrababu Naidu and the Telugudesam party? Or is it the failure of other parties that has presented a victory to TDP? May be both these doubts sound similar, but there is a hell lots of difference between these two. Most of the political analysts and even many from the public feel that this victory cannot be a genuine success of TDP and Babu. This was rather a helpless position that the public were put in, which has helped to TDP. People were left with no options other than Chandrababu and TDP at a status where they were starting their lives in an yet to develop new state. People wanted someone who has good administrative skills, large political experience to deal with the situations and Babu was the only leader they could see in front of them. Added, people have already suffered from the scams, corruption and power games, they wanted a peaceful life atleast for the next five years, which are crucial for the state to flourish and develop. Congress had pushed them into this situation, so no mercy on them. Other alternative was YSRCP and Jagan… he has no political experience. People have never seen him in power and handle a state. He is mainly looked at as the son of their favourite leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy and not as an able administrator. Added were the corruption allegations on Jagan. People doesn’t mean to say that Chandrababu is the purest. But, they were in a mess to chose the best from the available list and it was Babu and ultimately his party needs to come into power. This is the common man’s point of view!!!
