Anchor Jhansi is well known to Telugu audience. Jogi Naidu shared a few important facts about his relationship with Jhansi with a leading daily.Jogi said that he is no longer the husband of Jhansi. “We are no longer related.Court has sanctioned the divorce between us in May this year,” said Naidu.
Naidu said that the two of them fell in love and got married about fifteen years ago. The couple has a ten-year old daughter who now lives with her mother, Jhansi. 'I'll cherish those moments of love, marriage and birth of our daughter Dhanya for the rest of my life. That is what Jhansi has given me, though divorce is a big shock', said Jogi Naidu.
Jhansi started her career in 1997 and she never looked back in her career since then as she has excellent oratory skills. Also known for her interviewing skills, she has talked to various personalities on her shows. Her show BlackBLACK, is the first ever music reality show for the visually challenged.
She is very compassionate and sensitive in hosting such shows. Jhansi is an active social worker, spreading awareness in the areas of HIV/AIDS, child marriage, and education, with organizations like LEPRAINDIA, UNICEF. She also has been a key person in establishing a voluntary organization WOMEN IN NETWORK, working in the urban slums of Hyderabad. She is the brand ambassador for SAKHI, an organization for the hearing impaired. She also supports Viswadrukh Foundation For the Blind.
