YSRCP Legislature meeting is held at Lotus Pond today to chart-out plan of action and strategies during the AP Assembly sessions. All MLAs and MLCs are discussed on policies to follow in the Assembly to counter ruling party. Reportedly, they discussed on Governor Speech and how to trouble the TDP government during vote of Thanks debate. 9 MLAs were skipped to attend the meeting.
YSRCP leaders claim that all these MLAs have made prior intimation on their absence to the meeting for various unknown reasons. They have ruled out of intention of avoiding the meeting. Ravindranath reddy, Rajanna Dora, Rajeswarai and Mekapati are among the absentees list. Party has appointed Srikanth Reddy and Amarnath Reddy as coordinators and Kodali Nani and Uppuleti Kalpana as Deputy Floor leaders in the Assembly. Reportedly, Peddi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy rejects to take Party Whip.
YSRCP is demanding Deputy Speaker post in AP Assembly. As per Nehru, It is the custom to offer Deputy Speaker Post to the opposition. It’s up to TDP to give it or not. YSRCP has cleverly moved all steps not to lose its MLAs. By offering different posts in the Assembly to Kodali Nani, Kalpana and Peddi Reddy, YSRCP took precautionary measures to stop the defections.
