On sudden demise of Movie Moghul D. Rama Naidu, we just remind you some important aspects from his previous interviews. In current generation, very few have known that Rama Naidu as MP. He is very much known to the people as Celebrity and Producer having record of producing movies in different languages in the country but not as Member of Parliament.
Rama Naidu was elected to the Parliament from Bapatla in 1999 over Congress nominee JD Seelam with a huge majority of around 92K votes. He lost the election from same segment over his relative and Congress nominee Purandreshwari over 94K votes in 2004. Rama Naidu told in an interview how he enters into politics.
Late NTR was invited Rama Naidu into TDP but he was not interested at that time. After some period Rama Naidu had some interests and shared his opinion to his sons. Suresh welcomed his decision but Venkatesh not gave importance to his father’s decision. Venkatesh asked his father to take back the decision on entering into political arena. Rama Naidu said that Venkatesh wants the relations of all people irrespective of political parties.
As per Rama Naidu, Venkatesh not much interest to participate in the campaign. Even at the time losing the election, Venkatesh was not felt sad. Rama Naidu went to CBN and asked him directly to contest from Bapatla. CBN was in dilemma in selection of the candidate either Rama Naidu or Uma Reddy from Bapatla. Rama Naidu did so much to his constituency with funds of MP lauds. He felt sorry at the time losing in 2004 even after did much to his people in Bapatla.
