Murder case in Prakasam district took ugly political turn. Chief Minister CBN asked district TDP leaders on local faction murder in Prakasam district. Kadapa YSRCP leaders were concentrated to own 559 acres in Konakanamitla in Prakasam district which is nearer to Donakonda. As per Superindent of Police Srikanth, YSRCP leaders forced to take 559 acres from the farmers only on one assumption that Donakonda becomes capital if YSRCP comes to power.
Narasimha Reddy was murdered on February 23rd and thrown the dead body near Velugonda canal. Narasimha Reddy is not willing to sell his land. Srikanth said that they intentionally appear the dead body to the villagers to fear other villagers. Veerapratap Reddy, the prime accused in the murder is father-in-law of Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy.
Initially, YSRCP leaders thought that lands would turn valuable if Capital was announced in Donakonda. Even there was no capital in Donakonda, CBN has planned to develop industrial sector in Donakonda. Interestingly, Revenue department also involved in this case. They issued forgery passbooks on behalf-of some people who opposed to sell their land.
Police were in silent after knowing the political influence of Veerapratap Reddy. He is running Veerabhadra Granites in Cheemakurthi and father-in-law of Avinash Reddy. CBN ordered to speed-up the investigation in the murder. Police traced 15 people those were involved in the murder but Veerapratap Reddy escaped. Donakonda dreams pushed YSRCP leaders into troubles.
