There was a common fear among the people on increase of Maoists activities in Telangana after the division of the state. It seems that assumed situation was happened now after completion of the year in Telangana. Police observed that infiltration of Maoists increased into the state from Chhattisgarh.
In particular, Maoists infiltration increased in Nizamabad and Khammam districts in the state from Chhattisgarh. Police have planned to deploy additional forces to control them. Police observed that infiltration also there in AP but in limited extent. Since last 12 years, there were no major incidents happened in Telangana. Maoists entered into Telangana state after finding difficult to survive in Chhattisgarh.
In every summer, they went underground to avoid police risk because of lack of greenery and water in the forests. Surprisingly! Maoists didn’t care this summer due to lack of enough police combing in Telangana state. They entered into Khammam and Nizamabad from Chhattisgarh and Gadchiroli to Adilabad district. Maoists took the advantage of silence of AP Government after merging of 7 mandals from Telangana into AP.
