Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is currently the TDP supremo and is the only anti congress party in Andhra Pradesh. Though other small parties are there, leader of the opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSRCP has strong affiliation with Congress as his dad YS.Rajasekhar Reddy ruled AP leading Congress party to victory not once but twice and he was accused of indulging in many quid pro quo deals.
Chandrababu Naidu may be hailed
Chandrababu Naidu may be hailed as the modern day chanakya and champion of Telugu pride as leader of Telugu Desam party, which came into existence only on Anti Congress agenda and to fight the insults Congress Delhi leaders used to do to AP people.
However one cannot forget that Chandrababu Naidu started his political career in Congress party and rose to top post along with YS.Rajasekhar Reddy with his leadership and man management skills. Had it not been for his late father in law, Tollywood legend NTR launched Telugu Desam, he would have by then reached top position in Congress.

Even when NTR fought elections launching his TDP, Chandrababu Naidu decided to stay with Congress and fought against his father in law. Only after Congress was wiped out in AP, thanks to the iconic stature of NTR, Chandrababu made a decisive decision to join TDP.
