The hidden dissent within TDP’s band of MP’s has been coming out of late and recently it was the turn of Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju who offered to resign from ministry. He stunned Chandrababu Naidu with this sudden offer of resignation which was reported widely in media.
Babu to the Kshatriya community
This post went to him under TDP quota because of his sincerity as well as a token of gratitude by Babu to the Kshatriya community which rallied behind TDP in 2014 elections. But he was reportedly upset by Babu’s compliant that the Union ministers weren’t doing enough to push the state’s projects forward.
However sources say that beyond this slight misunderstanding and Babu calming him down, there is also an element of wider dissatisfaction against Babu. Although he refuses to accept, it is known fact that there is tremendous patronage for Kamma community always when TDP is in power.
This time this is becoming too obvious and recently Kapu MP Thota Narsimham also expressed his disappointment openly over the domination of Sujana Chowdary although he himself was made a Parliamentary party chairman. Now the senior politician from Vijayanagaram district is also upset over a junior politician dominating him in Delhi while TDP well-wishers say Babu should address this immediately!
