If the reports are to be believed, then sources say that former Deputy CM of Telangana Tatikonda Rajaiah is all set to join the Congress party soon. He was a Congress MLA who resigned during Kiran Kumar Reddy’s tenure and got re-elected on Telangana sentiment and again got elected as an MLA in 2014 elections.

Tatikonda Rajaiah

Rajaiah, who had been expelled from the cabinet of K Chandrasekhar Rao Cabinet, some months ago on charges of corruption charges inefficiency, seems to very upset with the TRS leadership. Apart from sacking him, for the past few weeks, TRS has been ignoring him when it comes to all official and party programmes.

At the same time, Tatikonda Rajaiah is also unable to digest the fact that KCR is pampering his arch rival Kadiam Srihari in Warangal district, who is now the Deputy Chief Minister. Moreover, as a dalit, there is also a lot of dalit anger too against KCR for such an ignominious exit to Rajaiah.

Sources say that Congress leadership may field Rajaiah for the upcoming Warangal MP seat by elections. Negotiations are reportedly on between Congress and Rajaiah. If Rajaiah indeed joins Congress, then it would mark an interesting contest between TRS and Congress in Warangal region.
