Before 2014 general elections Maganti Gopinath was TDP leader and Producer and very few were known about him. After getting elected from Jubilee Hills Assembly Segment in 2014, he is actively participated in Assembly legislative affairs and party affairs as well. Chandra Babu Naidu was appointed him as GHMC TDP President and removed existing Krishna Yadav. CBN seeks to strengthen TDP and victory in GHMC elections.
Gopinath took initiative to restore deleted votes in GHMC region after taking the charge as President as his first priority. TDP, BJP and Congress have blamed ruling TRS on deletion of around 20 lakh voters from the list in GHMC region. They blamed that GHMC officials encouraged in deleting Andhra voters from the list and helped TRS indirectly before GHMC elections.
Maganti Gopinath approached the opposition party leaders Marri Sashidhar Reddy (Congress) and Indrasena Reddy (BJP) and took them to Chief Election Commissioner Bhanwarlal. They made a complaint that TRS intentionally targeted some place where TDP and Congress are strong and deleted the voters. Bhanwarlal has assured them and issue notices to all deleted voters to respond. If election commission restored even some deleted votes it would help to TDP in GHMC election.
