K.V.P.Ramachandra Rao wrote a letter to centre stating that there is a huge threat of floods in Amaravathi. The letter caused huge ripples in the Andhra Pradesh political side. Responding to his allegations YVB Rajendra Prasad has made a statement saying that is a false propaganda on new capital city. 


He also said KVP Ramachandra Rao is trying to divert the topic with false allegations. Rajendra Prasad met media at NTR Trust bhavan and said, Amaravati is not having inundation threats. 


He also made it clear that the construction of the capital will not be stopped at any cost. Regarding those false allegations he said, Amaravati is being built with latest technology and even if there is a natural calamity the city will with stand all those places. 


He also questioned, just because of one natural calamity can we leave those coastal areas and move to another place ? He also asked, On the side of Kurnool, Tungabhadra river is there, and Musi river is there in Hyderabad. So, Can we leave these cities?
