Although the two parties are traditional allies since last three decades in both state and the national level, but, there is difference in Manifestos released by these parties for state assembly elections.

After Shiv Sena released its manifesto, BJP too released its manifesto, both the parties are allied for assembly elections in the state to be held on October 21st 2019. The manifestos of these parties bears some resemblance, but have some key differences in it. Ruling party BJP released its manifesto on October 12.

The key difference that has emerged in the manifestos of both the parties is, while Shiv Sena has highlighted the issue of saffronising the state but BJP hasn’t mentioned anything related to this. Both the parties was equally vocal about issues relating to women like empowerment, Sanitary napkins, and setting up working women hostels, on rural development Shiv Sena emphasized on better connectivity through all-weather roads, BJP claimed to revive sugar industry and connecting the farmers through digitization of digital platforms.

Other than this Shiv Sena promised to set 1 rupee clinics all over state, and food joints all across the state that provide full meal for just 10 rupees to the poor and deprived section. Overall Shiv Sena and BJP should have to go hand in hand to ensure a win in the elections.
