Similar to corporate or IT professionals, there is a talk that Telangana CM K.Chandrasekhar Rao is actually adopting a 'five-day week' policy. He is attending work as a CM only from Monday to Friday and moving to his Erravelli farm house in Medak district during Saturday and Sunday.
Well, even the 5-day
week is sometimes turning into a 3-day or 4-day working week, with CM more or
less confining to his farm house. As a CM he can be working from anywhere in
the state, but now the major concern is the total amount of pending files.
The files continue to be
accumulating in CM's office at Secretariat with each passing day awaiting
CM's approval and the figure has now reportedly touched 10,000 files now.
This also includes many crucial files such as health cards for employees,
appointment of chancellors and vice chancellors for universities etc lying idle
in his chambers.
But officials are
frightened to get these pending files to the notice of CM fearing any backlash
from him because they are unaware as to how KCR may react if anyone takes up
initiatives on their own.
