Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will be reportedly stepping in to Andhra region in what could be his first time ever visit after 14 years, when he lands in Andhra Pradesh on October 22 for the foundation stone event of the new capital city.

In the last 14 years he was never seen in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions for any of the public events except for visiting Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala in his capacity as a private citizen and pilgrim. The TRS chief was expected to attend few programmes in Andhra region during the T-agitation.

Jai Andhra movement and AP Dalit Maha Sabha organizers had invited him for a public meeting in Vijayawada in the month of May 2010 favouring bifurcation of the state which was later postponed due to the Cyclone Laila.

KCR also said many times that he would be touring the coastal Andhra region if needed to explain why there has to be bifurcation of the state and how it benefits people from Andhra too.  AP officials have reportedly suggested that KCR should travel by a helicopter from Suryapet to Gannavaram due to security constraints.
