The Amaravati Foundation ceremony took place yesterday. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the function and later when he met media he blamed the former Congress Government for dividing Andhra Pradesh and he also mentioned that as a hasty decision.
He also said lots of loss came along with the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Ministers Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Nirmala Sitaraman, AP and Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan and chief ministers of AP and Telangana N.Chandrababu Naidu and K.Chandrasekhar Rao were also present at the occasion.
Modi who spoke at the event said, "The bifurcation of Andhra and Telengana was done as a result of hasty decision. There was no proper consultation. I still have lots of pain as lots of lives we lost and more damage took place that day.
British earlier did something which still acts as a thorn and now the same thing has happened and the reason was congress." Modi promised that centre will provide all necessary help for the welfare of the state.
