Earlier Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu welcomed PM Modi at Gannavaram airport and accompanied him to the inaugural site in Uddandarayunipalem. Modi offered the sacred soil and water and he started his speech by extending his warm Vijayadasami wishes.
Modi also said unity must prevail between the Telugu people. Initially Modi started to speak in Telugu and that initial phase got a huge roar of applause from the crowd.
But still most of them were disappointed as Modi never made any announcement regarding the special status. Modi never even mentioned regarding the special status problem which is happening.
