Disturbing reports are emerging about few miscreants burning 5 acres of Sugar Cane crop after a farmer refused to give his land in the land pooling for Amaravati. A farmer named Gadde Chandrasekhar owns 5 acres in Malkapuram village. He refused to participate in the land pooling.

Few miscreants reportedly came in the pitch dark the other day and set the 5 acres farm on fire. The crop in two acres of land is completely destroyed while the crop in remaining three acres is partially destroyed. The farmer says there is a government hand in this and is not a coincidence or an accident.

The opposition party is quick to grab the opportunity and sent a team to Malkapuram village to stand by the farmer who lost his crop. This type of incidents and allegations at the time when the state government is claiming that farmers are coming voluntarily to give their lands, will be a big blow to the government prestige.

Also this happened a couple of days after laying the foundation stone for the capital. The state government is forcing the farmers by hook or crook to give their lands in land pooling as they can not go to land acquisition due to resistance from Pawan Kalyan and also huge costs involved in the process.
