TDP and BJP are contesting together in Warangal by-elections. TDP wants to contest the election despite being BJP contesting this seat in the elections. TDP was eager to contest this seat as BJP can not give competition to the ruling party here. However Naidu with his political intelligence tricked BJP to select his own candidate.
Devaiah even though hails from SC community, married an upper case woman. She was an ambitious woman and wants enter politics. Even though she is in USA, she always maintained good relations with Chandrababu Naidu and Venkaiah Naidu giving funds to their parties and organizing NRI meets in USA.
Since BJP have no candidate in Warangal, Devaiah was made to approach BJP state leadership. As BJP was looking for a candidate who can afford his own election expenses, they readily agreed. Thus Naidu tricked BJP to field his candidate. The polling for the by-election will take place on 21st and the results will be out on 24th.
