Maggi Noodles was banned by Indian Government stating that the food item contains lead in huge amount. But later the decks were cleared and Maggi came back. It was said that the product can not have huge sales just like the previous days. But it has proved wrong.

Maggi noodles was made available through India's giant e-commerce website snapdeal. It was also available on stores. Now we hear from sources that 120,000+ kits were provided to snapdeal for state of AP and Telengana and all the kits were sold out within few minutes.

The welcome kit contained 12 packs of noodles along with 2016 Maggi calendar, Maggie Magnet, Maggi Post card and a Welcome back letter. The kit is sold at a price of Rs.144/-. Nestle company is happy as the sales was terminated by month of June and now they have made a perfect come back.

A spokesperson said, "The sales have started once again across 100 towns with more than 300 distributors. We also opted to go through e-commerce website snapdeal and the response was phenomenal."
