Veteran member of BJP party and Union Minister from state of Telangana Bandaru Dattatreya collapsed day before yesterday while campaigning for warangal by-poll elections. He is fondly called as Dattanna by members.
Every one around him were shocked as sources around him said that he was bleeding from the nose. He was given immediate medical care at the Max Care hospital in town. P.Devaiah who is a combined candidate for both BJP as well as TDP was near him.
Now we hear from hospital sources that the politician is responding to treatment and he is recovering fast. But doctors have advised him to be at bed rest for next one week. The politician is still in hospital and doctors are providing basic treatments. He will be discharged by tomorrow evening.
Bandaru Dattatreya started his career as BJP Secretary in Andhra Pradesh during 1980's period. Later he became MLA in 1991 and once again he got re-elected as MLA in 1999. He also became the union minister for Development and poverty Alleviation during early 2000.
