Despite preliminary measures 35 people have lost their lives in various incidents across state of Andhra Pradesh. The North east monsoon rains has completely shattered day to day lives in Andhra Pradesh.
The rain still continues and people are just being home birds. An official person said that 35 people were killed due to various rain incidents like wall collapses, roof falling down and so on.
Parakala Prabhakar who is an Advisor in communication department has said the rains are worst this year and even though we are ready with relief measures due to the nature's fury we are unable to make it fast. Low-lying areas were inundated in villages and towns in the affected districts and crops suffered extensive damages.
Already holiday has been announced for districts of Chittoor, Nellore, Kadappa and Anantapur as they are low lying areas. Several rivers and rivulets were in spate following the rains. Relief camps were placed at every hot spot in each city. Food packets and other medical measures are also provided for people.
