Paris attacks which held on November 13th took the whole world by shock. Around 130 people were dead during this attack. Investigations are going on regarding this attack. An Islamic State Group said they have organized the attack.
They targeted people at a concert hall, restaurant terrace, cafe and at a soccer match. Lots of leaders condemned this inhumane attack. Now as an expression of Solidarity to the innocent lives lost, West Bengal Government has decided to erect a miniature of Eiffel tower in Rajarhat, Kolkata.
This will be part of the seven wonders themed Eco park. The replica will be 55 metres high. It should be noted that the original is 324 metres high. The construction will begin from November 28th with a ceremony which will be attended by Consulate general of France.
This replica will also be a 18 storey building which will be built out of 3000 tons of steel and will be painted in steel grey. The replica will also have observation room. The whole construction will be completed after 2.5 years, which means it will be ready by 2018.
