The congress party has been facing many brickbats not just in Andhra Pradesh but also in the centre. One of the major reasons the ruling party is getting bombarded is due to the way it has encouraged the flow of liquor into the state and the consequences common man has to pay for.
It is true that Andhra Pradesh is the number 1 when it comes to revenue generating out of liquor but many are suggesting congress should also focus on supplying the other liquid, it is water. Despite having sufficient infrastructure and waterways, this precious liquid has been the major requirement for all.
Any political party believes that by supplying liquor during elections time or feeding the people with alcohol will bring them votes but if only they focused on giving proper water supply to all, their credibility would become much stronger. It is not just about money, it is also about power and goodwill which must be created.
