Eiffel Tower turned green with respect to the Paris climate conference. The whole tower turned green with launch of an art project that will see "virtual trees" that will support reforestation. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Oscar-winning French actress Marion Cotillard attended the launch of '1 Heart 1 Tree' project.

Naziha Mestauoi who is the brains behind this concept said, "Everyone is able to plant a virtual tree on the Eiffel Tower which will grow to the beat of their heart. The virtual tree will be planted in the reforestation programme."

Any one can do this. All you need to do is a smartphone app. The app records the heartbeat through a sensor and then it projects this with image of a tree. All you need to do is write your name and a short message and map your location. Real life trees will be planted in Australia, Brasil, Senegal, India, France, Peru and Ivory Coast from 2016.

The real trees costs between three to ten euros. The rate differs based on the species. The digital artist further added, "This is an idea to connect the virtual and real world."
