Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is facing lots of heat from all sides after losing the Warangal by-poll elections. He is even planning to step out of the BJP alliance. But despite this loss, he has said that the state of Andhra Pradesh has achieved a growth rate of 15%.
But at the same time opposite parties are lashing out the Government. MLA Roja who is a former actress has said, "The highest growth rate in the World has been with China and the growth rate is 7.40% and the national figures are at 5.6%. So how can Andhra Pradesh can think of such an impossible 15% growth rate.
The sum of goods and services produced during the year when compared to the previous year, determines the growth rate. But in state of Andhra Pradesh, farmers are in pathetic situation. Their loans are not waived.
There are financial crisis everywhere. Lots of cultivable land was given to land mafia. This is the real face of Andhra Pradesh. And with this, how can Chandra Babu Naidu achieve the growth of 15% ?"
