If there is one tool which the political parties and politicians have realized to be of good benefit of late, then it is none other than the power of media. Once the select turf of a few, now many are in the fray with their own media groups.
With Babu getting open support from major media groups, late YSR planned a new media group called Sakshi, through which he made his son Jagan Reddy invincible providing a platform which has lifted Jagan even after YSR’s death!
Now sources say that TRS firebrand leader and also the most expected rival of KCR family in coming days, Harish Rao and his supporters have drawn plans for a new media group. This group whose name hasn’t come out yet will also include a daily and TV channel.
Harish’s supporters feel that he deserves more mileage since Namasthe
Telangana is only focusing on KTR. Incidentally, the new media will be
started in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, which again throws
up an interesting angle!
