Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa underwent an Aerial survey of the flood affected areas of Chennai city. She will be visiting Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur districts by tomorrow. She met officials and provided some valid points in order to drain the floods.
She wants to do some exercise but the officials have said it is impossible due to bad weather. Right now Jayalalitha is discussing with concerned authorities and is taking various steps to tackle the situation. Relief measures are being conducted right now by Army people.
Right now she has ordered O.Paneerselvam and few other ministers to take charge of the relief works. Senior IAS officials have also been tasked to ensure that relief reaches the people in the worst-affected Chennai and other districts. In a worst case scenario, Jaya TV themselves faced the flood and the satellite signal was lost from yesterday evening.
This happened to Puthiya Thalaimurai channel too. Both the leading news channels are now flooded with water. The news has shocked everyone as Jaya TV belongs to CM Jayalalithaa.
