Chennai Floods has caused lots of trouble for all the residents of Chennai. There has been shortage of Milk, food and other essential items. ADMK Government which has to provide the essential items is busy in sticking the logos of ADMK and face of Jayalalitha. So people are suffering from lack of all basic necessities.
Few news channels also said that there has been a shortage for Petrol and Diesel in bunks. But Indian Oil Corporation has ensured that there is no shortage of fuel in Chennai or surrounding areas.
They said the bulks were closed due to safety following floods. But the company has sent an official press statement. The press statement reads as, "Customers are requested not to panic. There is no fuel shortage in the city. Due to heavy water-logging many petrol pumps are not being operated due to safety and security reasons, as fueling is an electrical operation."
The situation raised when truck drivers said they faced diesel problems when they bring the relief items. Right now supplies are coming from all cities.
