As we said earlier, the battered Chennai is getting help from all sides. However Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are the first states to help Chennai. Despite facing more troubles themselves, they did all necessary help.
Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh IYR Krishna Rao already spoke to TN Chief secretary regarding the rescue operations. The AP Government already made necessary amendments to control the flow of water. As per TN Government request the outsourcing of other dams in Chittoor was done and it reduced the risk of floods.
Now apart from this, Telugu actors and actress came forward to provide more help. Actor Rana Daggubati contributed with lots of grocery items. He joined hands with Dhanush and provided all the necessary help. The Government also sent necessary grocery items through Army ships.
More than 7500 tonnes of rice and 10,000 mineral water has been sent. Milk packets and Vegetables were sent too. They were delivered to the exact NGO's so that it was ensured the materials reached the needy. Slowly things are turning back to normal mode.
