However politicians who should set example leading from the front are fighting to get credit for the relief operations. The same politicians were not seen when Chennai was drowned, power supply off and the city cut off from rest of the country.
Now that Chennai is crawling back to normalcy, many politicians are from various parties are fighting to get credit for the relief operations. With huge aid largely food,milk packets coming from various quarters, many were going waste.
With no coordination some places are getting excess aid while others no aid at all. Now reports are coming that local politicians are stalling the relief operations of NGOs by demanding their party symbols,leaders photos be used on the packets.
Already CM Jayalalitha is getting flak with angry people questioning why she is promoting herself by pasting her photos on relief aid.
