The Chennai floods never even spared IT companies. DLF IT Park is located between Chennai Nanthambakkam Trade Centre and Porur Signal. The IT Park has been completely flooded half of the building. Food Court, Canteen, Hundreds of Call centers are in ground floor.
More than 500 IT Companies are in 7th Floor. All the companies were safe until the floods arrived. Each day thousands of car go through that company. In this case, the exact data of loss with respect to floods was not revealed. Lots of people are scared as how many are alive and how many are dead inside this IT park.
The gates are closed from last Monday and today is the 11th day. It has never been opened. The distance between the IT Park and the main road is 500 metres. More than 20 security guards were spotted outside. The security guards never even allowed media personalities.
When we buzzed a person who came from inside he said, "Basement alone is 46 feet. Water has completely drowned the basement and ground floor. Water level has raised till second floor. Don't ask me more than that." Another parent who was waiting outside said, My son is working here and they are not revealing any information. It has been more than ten days. All we can say is, 'Truth can never be kept hidden'.
