The Chennai Floods has caused lots of trouble to people of Chennai. It has especially affected the school and college going kids. From Diwali, the school kids are staying at home. Due to persistent rains the schools remain closed for a long period. Kids are also suffering as they feel hard to study the portion. 


But things went out of hands due to floods. Chief Minister Jayalalitha has ordered all schools in Tamil Nadu to postpone the Half Yearly exam. But still in less affected areas they are keeping the exams under name of 'Monthly Exams'. The Education board is also not caring about it. 


We provided a detailed report on the news yesterday. Now Collectors from Chennai, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur district  said that the schools and colleges will be closed till 13th and it will be a common re-open on 14th of December. 


Right now the schools are focusing on removing the stagnant waters. The collector has ordered to clear all the water logs and swamps before the reopening date.
