It is now  touted as one of the biggest yagnas that have been ever performed in the country, and this pertains to the Ayuta Chandi Yagam (yagna) planned by CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. Over 1,500 priests along with 500 of their assistants coming from five states will be performing the yagam at his farm house in Erravelli, nearly 60 km from Hyderabad.


The five-day yagam is being done with an objective of propitiating gods and ensuring prosperity. KCR will be running up a huge bill for this yagam at his own cost.  For Yagashala, Bhojanashala and artistic entrances, an art director called Ramesh has reportedly been roped in.


An event organizer has been hired gallery works and also other coordination works while 150 cooks hailing from Chennur in Adilabad district will be preparing about 50,000 meals a day for all the visitors, which will also be including the public.


The dining hall can accommodate 10,000 people at a time which is spread over 30,000 square feet while Yagam is being held in around 30 acres of the farm house.Sources say that 106 Homagundams are being build wherein the groups of 11 Ritviks will be performing the Yagnam rituals!
