'Call Money' scam is a scheme where a loan is provided with just a phone call away. The money is delivered at door step. But on the negative side, you need to pay triple the amount as interest. Failing to do so, you will be manhandled. This came as a shock for people of AP.
Now police already arrested 80 people fro various political parties regarding this scam. Now apart from this, Promoters of two private finance companies were detained today in Visakhapatnam.
The Vizag police grabbed some cash and money related documents from their offices. R.Mallikarjuna Rao who is Inspector of Task force said that the raids went on at Sri Venkata Sai Finance and Chandra Finance and Police have seized Rs.1.95 Lakhs cash.
122 blank promissory notes, 22 blank cheques and 160 loan books from Chandra Finance. They also got some 30 blank promissory notes, 55 empty promissory notes and ledger book. Police have taken them to custody and right now both of them are being interrogated.
