DMK treasurer M.K.Stalin has urged the centre and state government to lift the ban on 'Jallikattu' game. He also threatened the Government, if they fail to do so, he will protest against them. 'Jallikattu' is a famous bull-taming sport which happens in Tamil Nadu during the Pongal festival.

Recently social activists and many people protested against this as they are torturing innocent animals under the name of game. But on other hand, Supporters of 'Jallikattu,' have been defending it on the grounds that it is a sport of bravery and is reflective of the local tradition.

Now, MK Stalin took his Facebook to share his views. He posted, "If the Centre and state don't take steps for removing the ban and hold jallikattu during the coming Pongal festival, I myself will lead a struggle against this after seeking approval from (DMK President) Kalaignar (Karunanidhi)."

Last year Supreme court clearly banned all games related to bull. They cancelled bull race, bull fight and other performances. But now there has been huge wave in favour of starting the game again.
