Actress cum anchor and the firebrand YSRCP MLA from Nagari in
Chittoor district Roja, has more or less become a big embarrassment and a
liability of sorts than strength for the party president Jaganmohan
Reddy, because of her acerbic tongue and also unusual behaviour.
After
facing an ignominious punishment of getting suspended from the AP
Assembly for one year, Jagan had reportedly expressed displeasure at
Roja’s unparliamentary language against CM N Chandrababu Naidu.
As
expected her behaviour was as a big chance for the ruling Telugu Desam
Party for turning the tables on the YSR Congress party, which has been
utilizing the current momentum to expose the involvement of many TDP
leaders and their role in the call money racket.
Jagan
was only forced to defend Roja for a while in the Assembly after she
left due to suspension, but Jagan’s party leaders said off the record he
was very much upset with her. Jagan reportedly felt that by using
filthy language against CM she surrendered an advantage to the TDP and
they had become defensive!
