They just let go of them. Now a lecturer of the Government Women’s Polytechnic College was arrested on the complaint of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). He was arrested under sections of the POSCO Act for sexually abusing girl students which also includes minors.
Sub inspector Ilango has registered the case and the lecturer name was said as 'Karunagaran'. He is working as a lecturer. He was arrested under Section 11 (Sexual Harassment of the Child) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
Also Sections 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 354 (Assault or criminal force of woman with intent to outrage her modesty). Child Welfare Committee personally inquired the victims and they recorded their statements.
