Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekar Rao finally starts the five day 'Aayutha Chandi Maga Yaagam'. The Yaagam started yesterday at KCR's farmhouse with more security arrangements. Priests from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other five states attended this yaagam.
They started this Yaagam by chanting hymns and mantras. Later they also did 108 Homagundams after performing religious rituals. Lots of arrangements were made at the 120 acre KCR farm house. The farm house is situated at Erravalli in Medak district near Hyderabad.
Sources said this Yaagam takes place for World peace and Public well-being. While leading the Telangana movement four years ago, KCR had vowed to organise the religious event if a separate state became a reality. On the last day, some VVIP's are expected to attend this Yaagam.
Some of the known faces are Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, The Governors of Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. MP's, Two Judges of Supreme court. As lots of VVIP's are coming more than 3000 policemen were deployed around the area.
