Telangana CM KCR is performing Chandi Yagam and is is really bold on part of KCR to perform the yaga as CM of the state. KCR is known for his aggressive nature and will have his way irrespective of the criticism he faces.
He is known to be spiritual and starts any assignment only after consulting his astrologers and vaastu experts. It is not that he is favouring Hindus in any manner. In fact he goes overboard to please muslims and christians. He announced many freebies for them during Ramzan and Christmas.
He goes to churches and masjids and shower them with boons. This is not the case with regards to Hindus. Now his chandi yagam is criticised by atheists. They are of the opinion that since India is a secular country,PM,CMs,Ministers shouldn't perform yagas or other Hindu rituals.
However the same atheists will not utter a single word on allocation
of funds to construction of churches and masjids or Governments
officially organising Iftars and Christmas get togethers. They don't
have answer for talking only against Hindu estivals. People say that
atheists shouldn't discriminate in their criticism.
