Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is a person who stays by his words. He has decided to vacate the Secretariat in Hyderabad by June. But still the state of Andhra Pradesh has the right to continue its operations from Hyderabad till 2024.

Naidu already made it clear that all have to move to Vijayawada and leave Hyderabad at stake. Employees and Employers have already expressed their opinion and dissatisfaction with respect to this change of place.

But Naidu is not feeling comfortable staying in Hyderabad after the bifurcation and he said a number of times that he was feeling like being in a foreign country. He also said that it is so hard for him to see the construction of new capital Amaravati if he is in Hyderabad.

He ordered the officials to vacate the common capital (Hyderabad) at the earliest. Day before yesterday he conducted a meeting and in that he has ordered the officials to make all necessary arrangements to shift the whole secretariat from Hyderabad to Amaravati by June. He also called the HOD's to start the necessary preparations.
