AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is well known as a man who can survive any odds. No one expected TDP to gain few seats in Telangana and also make a comeback in Andhra Pradesh as the ruling party three years ago. In a way, even rivals are jealous of Babu.
As the CM of United AP for 9 years, Babu’s writ ran unchallenged in all regions but his self goals led to his political exile for 10 years. But after coming to power, he had to be content with becoming the ruler of AP since AP’s bifurcation had become nothing but a reality!
But the smiles was subdued since party couldn’t come back to power in Telangana and now with defections to TRS, TDP is fearing that it may never make a comeback here. It is in this backdrop that after a bitter feud, Babu took the first step to invite KCR to Amaravathi.
Since then, he has lost interest in Telangana affairs and knowing that
his bonhomie with KCR may damage the morale of cadre in its last
stronghold called Hyderabad, he has been hobnobbing with TRS. Some
speculate that in order to survive his party, he may formally enter into
an alliance very soon with TRS!
