Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu felicitated Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Satya Nadella met Chandrababu Naidu at his residence. Microsoft India has agreed to offer technologies to improve delivery of public services in Andhra Pradesh, while the state government has requested Microsoft to start a centre of excellence in Vishakapatnam.


The government signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with Microsoft over the technology offer. A press statement was issued by Government and the statement read that Microsoft has agreed to start up a Centre of Excellence in Visakhapatnam.


But now a new press statement said that the state has requested Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to consider setting up a CoE in the coastal city. In the new press statement, Microsoft will be supporting three proof-of-concept (POC) solutions to apply Microsoft Azure Machine Learning and Advanced Visualization tool in the fields of education, agriculture and eCitizen services.


Anil Bhansali who is MD of Microsoft India (R&D) Pvt Ltd said, "Microsoft will empower every Indian and Indian business and government organization to achieve more."
