The 'Money Racketing' issue created more waves in the state. The 'Call Money Scam' has been exposed in Andhra Pradesh and more number of people from various political parties were arrested. In this scam,blackmail, extortion and sex racket also happens.
Recently, Chandra Babu Naidu introduced a new bill where without license no one can lend money. Failing to do so, the person will be thrown behind bars. This has created more ripples and lots of people gave up this money lending job.
Police are also making various inquiries and as part of their investigation, Vijayawada Police arrested a 47 year old financier. Police said that he has harassed hundreds of Government employees after lending them the money.
Police also said he has gave the money for high interest and has charged more than he has provided. He has a mobile phone store at his native place Gudivada. Police are also making inquiries whether he has been involved in sex racketing with respect to this call money scam.
