The so called alliance between Congress and TDP in the Telangana region may have started finally with reports that the victory tasted by Congress MLC Candidate in Nalgonda, Komati Reddy Rajgopal Reddy secured good number of TDP votes.
At a time when no opposition party in Telangana was sure how many MPTC’s and ZPTC’s they are having due to TRS aakarsh, this victory has boosted the morale of Congress party in Telangana region after a long time.
In a way, this has also proved what can be achieved if all the Congress leaders come to a single platform. Clearly TRS has learnt a lesson here that inspite of tremendous camp politics and lucrative offers, cadre power has helped the Congress party.
But the victory here can also serve as a boost for the beleaguered TDP
and also Congress to forge some kind of political understanding. This
can slowly gain some pace as any anti-incumbency wave starts hitting
TRS!
