Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK chief J.Jayalalitha has lashed out DMDK Chief Vijayakanth. She also asked his party members to keep calmness and she has asked them to show the rage during elections.
Jayalalitha also said that Vijayakanth is just trying to disrepute her party and she asked her party members not to be a prety for this conspiracy. Jayalalitha also said that DMDK will be taught a lesson in these upcoming elections. She also asked everyone to stop protests and stay away from the trouble.
Regarding the Thanjavur incident, Jayalalitha said, the flex board was removed by Vijayakanth's own supporters as it blocked the view. But he took this as a chance and he said it was ADMK party members who have removed the flex board. Jayalalitha said that Vijayakanth provoked his party men to remove her flex board and that was the reason behind all the trouble.
Following this incident enraged AIADMK supporters had staged protests against Mr.Vijayakanth which also lead to burning of effigies. Jayalalitha said, "We are a disciplined people's movement. Our motive is to serve people."
