Amaravati City which is going to be the new capital of Andhra Pradesh is getting all the major attractions. The proposed plan showcased the city with high class infrastructure. Already Singapore companies were asked to be involved in this project. Now we hear that the city will get an underwater tunnel in River Krishna.

As per the detailed master plan for the upcoming capital Amaravati, the transparent road tunnel will connect the administrative capital with Vijayawada. One of the senior planner in Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) said,

"The underwater tunnel is going to be an instant love for tourists. This will cost a lot more , but still we are going with it. We will earn more revenue from tourists. We need to attract tourists and we have to provide an unique identity."

It has to be noted that the foundation stone of Amaravati was laid at Uddandarayunipalem village of Guntur district by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on October 22, 2015. But so far the construction work was not even started.
