Around one year after the Raheja Mindspace-APIIC joint venture case
was formally closed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau court, the case was
reportedly reopened on Wednesday and the ACB court has again summoned three IAS and an IPS officer along with the three other accused towards a fresh hearing.
Senior
IAS officers namely B P Acharya, K Ratnaprabha, L V Subrahmanyam, and
IPS officer M Gopikrishna, were instructed to be be present in the court
on February 12, 2016, after a complaint of criminal conspiracy and wrongful gain was levelled against them and also the Raheja management.
Acharya
is currently the home secretary of Telangana and L V Subramanyam is the
special chief secretary for AP government, whereas K Ratnaprabha is now
with Karnataka as additional chief secretary of industries and
commerce. IPS officer Gopikrishna is the additional DG for organisation
and reforms, Telangana.
The other accused in
this case are project's MD Neil Raheja, project's Hyderabad chief B
Rabindranath and joint secretary of the IT and communications department
in the undivided Andhra Pradesh, Mr. P S Murthy.
