A head of GHMC elections Telangana CM KCR's son KTR who is also Minister for IT involved in war of words with BJP state president G.Kishan Reddy. KTR attacking BJP and Modi led Union Government said "Modi granted a Rs 1.25 lakh crore package to Bihar and Rs 80,000 crore package to Jammu & Kashmir for political reasons,"
KTR added “never showed any interest to understand the Telangana's financial requirements, leave alone granting the special package to the state.“BJP leader Rama Chandra Rao rubbished claims of KTR who claimed that they invited Prime Minister Modi.
He said “They (TRS) never invited the PM. We checked with the prime minister's office. There is no record of any invitation being extended to Modi.“Kishan Reddy too blasted KTR saying he was bundle of lies.
He added “TRS is taking credit for
centrally-sponsored schemes implemented in Telangana. The Centre granted
over Rs one lakh crore to Telangana for vario us schemes, including
housing, power and roads. Instead of being grateful to the Centre, the
TRS government is claiming these schemes as its own. But people can see
through such false claims and will severely punish TRS in the GHMC
polls,“
