Terrorist attacks have been a huge trouble for India. Today morning there was a terror attack at Pathankot-Jammu national highway. The terror attack happened in neighbouring Punjab. Due to this attack, the Pathankot - Jammu National highway was kept on high alert.
Each and every vehicle was being scanned and checked thoroughly. Police never even spared domestic vehicles. Regarding this, a senior official said, "High alert has been sounded in Kathua district and entry into the state from neighbouring Punjab at Lakhanpur is being monitored and checked.
There is a general alert on the international border (IB) in Kathua district and Border Security Force troops guarding the IB have been ordered to be extra vigilant. After we came to know about this terror attack, we made a complete search on all the vehicles in the highway since morning.
There have been terror attacks earlier and we have dealt with such threats before. The highway is completely secured and civilians are carrying out their usual activities."
