Seems Chandra Babu Naidu is planning to increase the debts for the state Government. Just imagine cost of construction of a building. You can even imagine it as the most luxurious and sophisticated one. Can you calculate one such building which is at 4000 Square feet.
Consider the location of building, interior, transportation and sanitary works too. Now Naidu Government is building one such at an unimaginable cost. The building is none other than a new Secretariat building at Mangalagiri as part of the new capital of Amaravati.
The amount for the building has been estimated as Rs.300 Crores. Government has confirmed that it will release 150 Crores and the rest of the amount will be got from HUDCO at an interest of 10.65% and this will be paid over 20 years time.
So just imagine the burden on the government which has to pay every year. The interest itself is going to affect the party for a long time. Experts say it would not cost even Rs 3,000 per square feet, since the cost of construction material at Mangalagiri is cheaper when compared to Hyderabad.
